Erin Thompson

A-Division SPT Coordinator

Erin graduated from Brock University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology Honours Degree. During her time at Brock University she worked as a Student Group and Cycling Fitness Coordinator, Brock University Civilian Fire Fighter Fitness Evaluations staff, Student Health Promotions coordinator, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Events Coordinator, and also a teaching assistant for Advanced Exercise Training Principles and Exercise Testing.

Erin competed in Group Aesthetic Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in 2002 and 2005 earned Professional Fitness Athlete Status winning the Toronto Centrals Fitness Championship.

Over the past couple of years, Erin has been invited as a speaker for the Canadian Undergraduate Conference on Healthcare at Queens University, CSEP Professional Development Day in Ottawa, The Niagara Falls International Marathon, and ACTIVATE Fitness Conference in Ottawa. Erin is passionate about promoting physical activity and health in sedentary populations and has held the position of Supplementary Physical Training Coordinator at the Royal Military College for 11 years.
